Pumping Iron




Many people – especially women – are deficient in iron. They feel tired, run-down and wonder why. Lack of iron can be one of the biggest reasons. One of the best sources of iron, along with its other B vitamins, is molasses. 

Molasses is made from the residue left from making sugar out of sugar cane and just a little of the stuff can do wonders for your energy and health. Find the darkest molasses you can buy at the store and add a little of it to muffins, waffles and whole grain breads. One tablespoon of molasses (depending on the kind) can provide up to 75% of the daily iron allowance.
